Apple updates Macbook Air

06 Jun

Apple has updated its iMac line, and one of the most surprising highlights is… Macbook Air is still alive.

Yes, the 13-inch Macbook Air has received an upgrade from a 1.6GHz processor to a 1.8GHz processor. And that’s about it, too – Air’s update includes nothing else, not even more storage, RAM or any new features such as retina display or Intel’s Kaby Lake processors. Nevertheless, it’s still cheaper than a Macbook Pro, which might attract more customers and explain Apple’s decision to revitalise the product.

The upgraded Macbook Air will be available on Apple Stores on Wednesday – but FYI, observers believe you should spend your money on a new Macbook Pro instead.
